Illegal colleges shut down

Sea level rise - a threat to KZN coastal properties



Michael Jackson`s doctor Conrad Murray was sentenced to four years imprisonment for involuntary manslaughter in connection with the pop singers death on 25 June 2009. Police have shut down several illegal colleges across the country. KwaZulu-Natal city planners should factor in a 600mm sea level rise by the year 2100 and be ultra cautious about building or authorising any further development too close to the beachfront.

N2 Umgeni interchange: development continues Cllr shaken up after robbery Greener city rooftops proposed



More pillars have been constructed and deep excavations continue as progress on the new N2 Umgeni, M19 interchange continues. Westville councillor, Fawzia Peer, is still shaken up after a robbery at her home on Tuesday, 29 November. According to Fawzia, she had arrived home at around 9pm and was parked in her white Mercedes-Benz, waiting for the gate to open. The exhibition Repurpose is a creative exhibition of architecture without borders at the Priority Zone Pilot Project in Monty Naicker Road opposite the ICC.
